- SCCM is a Microsoft Product which is 29years Old as of 2024 - Primary Site can manage upto 1,75,000 systems - for the companies/orgs. having >1,75,000 systems, need to connect to CAS (Central Admin Site), so CAS is in the top of the hierarchy - Orgs. having systems at different geo locations (like in dif. countries) need to have Secondary Site Setup to be connected to Primary Site/CAS to get the data synced - Primary Site Server Setup is the very first Setup needed for Centralized Operation - Central Administration Site (CAS) Server has the Limitation of Managing 8,25,000 Systems - SQL Database is used in the CAS to Store Date from Primary Site Server - CAS Can support upto 25 Primary Site Servers - Minimum Windows Server 2012 version is required to install SCCM - Primary Site can support upto 250 Secondary Sites - Secondary Site Server used to Control Network Bandwidth, can Support upto 15000 systems - Needs SQL Express or SQL Server to operate SCCM in the Secondary Site
